Adjusting the farm settings
Sur cette page
The farm settings determine how the app classifies your animals and displays their information. They are set during commissioning, then rarely changed.
This article contains the following sections:
- Confirming your changes
- The Identity block
- Available settings
- Calving settings
Confirming your changes:
Every change must be confirmed to take effect.
Remember to confirm
Without confirmation, your setting is lost when you change screens.
The Identity block:
This block contains the administrative information of your account. You cannot change it yourself: for any correction, write to support@iotee-agri.fr.
Available settings:
| Setting | Effect | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Display preference | Identifies your animals by their working number, their IPG number or their name | — |
| Crossbred classification | For animals with breed code 39: treated as dairy or as suckler | — |
| Automatic move to cows | Age from which a heifer changes category, adjustable separately for dairy and suckler | If your events are transferred automatically, choose a high value: the actual calving will take precedence. |
| Drying-off period | Number of days before the due date when the animal moves to the dry category | If you record your drying-offs in the app, set this period to 0 days. |
| Time zone | Adjusts the app's time and date to the country where you are located | An incorrect time zone shifts all your alert time slots. |
Calving settings:
Three Calving service settings are also found in the farm settings: the service activation mode, the period before the due date and the duration that triggers the long calving alert. They are described in the article Adjusting the Calving service.
