Switching on a collar

During commissioning, the collars are switched on by the technician carrying out the installation. Collars ordered later are delivered switched off: switch them on before fitting them, via Bluetooth with the app or with a magnet.

Checking whether a collar is switched off:

To check whether a collar is switched off:

1. Open the Equipment tab.
2. Apply the Communication overdue filter.

A collar that is switched off shows a dash in the Last communication column.

Switching on a collar via Bluetooth:

To switch on a collar via Bluetooth:

1. Go near the collar with your phone.
2. Open the Equipment tab and select the collar.
3. Start the switch-on from the collar menu.

The app establishes the Bluetooth connection and wakes up the collar. The procedure is shown in the video Switching on a sensor with Bluetooth.

Switching on a collar with a magnet:

To switch on a collar with a magnet:

1. Place the magnet on the orange side of the collar, at the spot marked with the magnet symbol.
2. Hold the magnet in place.

The collar restarts and then searches for the base station. The procedure is shown in the video Switching on a sensor with a magnet.

The first connection is established more easily at short range. Once the collar is visible in the app, you can take it to the animal.
