Sharing your camera with another user

You can give a partner, an employee or a vet access to your Mozaë cameras. The person first creates their HIK Connect account, then you share the camera with them by QR code from the farm's main account.

Creating the person's account:

Sharing is only possible with an existing HIK Connect account.

To create their account, the person:

1. Downloads the HIK Connect app from Google Play or the App Store.
2. Opens the app and taps Log In / Sign Up.
3. Enters their email address or phone number, then chooses a password.
4. Enters the security code received by email or text message, then confirms.

Generating the sharing QR code:

These steps are carried out on the farm's main account.

To generate the QR code:

1. Tap the three dots at the top right of the camera, then Share.
2. Choose Share with User.
3. Choose Share via QR code.

Choosing the permissions granted:

To set the person's permissions:

1. Tap the camera line to display the associated permissions.
2. Untick the permissions you do not want to grant.
3. Tap Save, then OK. The QR code is displayed.

Tick the Playback option if the person needs to watch recordings. Without it, they can only see the live view. This setting is made camera by camera.

Accepting the share:

To receive the camera, the person:

1. Taps the + at the top of their account page, then Scan QR Code.
2. Scans the QR code displayed on your phone.
3. Accepts the camera.

You then receive confirmation of the share.
