Updating your collars
Sur cette page
A new version of your collars' internal software is released from time to time. The update is started from the app, via your phone's Bluetooth, and takes about 5 minutes per collar.
Available on Android only
Updating collars from the app is not available on iPhone. If you only have an iPhone, use the Android phone of a partner or an employee, or contact our team.

Spotting an available update:
The app lets you know: a blue banner appears at the top of the screen.
Starting the update:
To update a collar:
- Stand between 1 and 5 metres from the collar, with your Android phone.
- Follow the steps shown in the app.
The update takes about 5 minutes.
One collar is enough to get started
There is no need to update all your collars one by one: the collar you have just updated passes the new version on to the others.
Tracking progress:
| Banner | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Blue banner | A new version is available. |
| Orange banner | The update is spreading. Tap it to open the list of collars that are not yet up to date. |
| Green banner | All the collars on the farm are up to date. |
Good to know:
| Point | Details |
|---|---|
| Your data is kept | The update only affects the collar software. Detections and history remain intact. |
| Nothing to do in the app | There is no need to log out and log back in: the new version appears on its own. |
| No intermediate step | From version 1.1, you go straight to 1.4, without installing the intermediate versions. |
| Visible to everyone | The update is linked to the farm, not to a person: all users of the account can see the progress. |
| Several people at once is possible | Two people can start updates at the same time, on different batches or not. |
