Alerts, thresholds and sharing

Sharing your account with a partner, an employee or a service provider

Updated

Each person who uses the app must have their own login details. This way, everyone receives the alerts that concern them, and you control who can change what.

Do not share a common login
With a single account for the whole farm, alerts cannot be set person by person: everyone receives everything, day and night.

This article contains the following sections:

  • The main account
  • Adding a person
  • Profiles and rights
  • Receiving calving text messages

The main account:

The main account corresponds to the email address entered when your purchase order was validated. Only this account can add other users.

Adding a person:

To add a person to your account:

  1. Open the account settings, Account sharing tab.
  2. Tap Add.
  3. Enter their email address, profile and rights.

Profiles and rights:

Each person is given a profile, which defines their scope.

Profile Access For whom
Manager Full access to settings and configuration A partner or anyone who runs the farm
Employee Access to day-to-day functions, without the core settings A farm employee
Service provider Limited access to essential data A vet, an inseminator or an advisor

For each profile, you assign a level of rights:

  • Edit, to take action in the app according to the profile;
  • View, to view the information only.

What each combination allows is summarised in the following table.

Receiving calving text messages:

For a person to receive calving text messages:

  1. Open the Users tab.
  2. Enter their phone number.

Without a number, they only receive notifications in the app.

Check reception
In the Account sharing tab, two bell-shaped buttons send a test notification: a standard one, and a calving one with its specific ringtone. The person receives the message “Test notification” or “Test vêlage”.
