Adjusting graph visibility
Sur cette page
The app's graphs show how your animals' and groups' measurements change over time: intake, rumination, group profile and comfort, time budget. The Graph screen sets the limits of these curves, so they remain readable with your herd's usual values.
This article contains the following sections:
- What you set
- Adjusting a graph's limits
- Input rules
- Restoring the default values
What you set:
For each graph, a minimum value and a maximum value define the displayed area of the curve. A limit that is too wide flattens the variations; a limit that is too narrow cuts off values outside the area.
These limits only change the display: they have no effect on alerts. Alert thresholds are set in the Calculations screen: see Adjusting detections and calculations.
Adjusting a graph's limits:
To adjust a graph's limits:
- On a computer, open Settings, then Graph.
- Choose the group of animals from the drop-down list.
- Change the minimum and maximum values of the graph concerned.
Each change is saved immediately. Only groups with at least one animal fitted with a sensor are offered.
This setting is not available on phone. Use the computer version of the app. Without editing rights on the farm, the screen is read-only.
Input rules:
- The maximum value must be strictly greater than the minimum value.
- When a graph also has axis limits, they frame the other two values: lower axis limit, minimum, maximum, then upper axis limit, in this ascending order.
An entry that does not follow these rules is rejected.
Restoring the default values:
The Restore default values button restores all the limits on the screen, after confirmation.
